Copyright & DMCA Policy

NciteMe respects intellectual property rights. Upload only material you own or have permission to use. We may remove material alleged to infringe copyright and, in appropriate circumstances, terminate accounts of repeat infringers. Trademark and impersonation complaints can be submitted at Report Abuse.

Copyright notices

This page does not register a DMCA designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Until a registered agent and mailing address are listed here, send a copyright notice through Report Abuse and choose Copyright or trademark. Include: (1) your name and contact information; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) the exact NciteMe URL; (4) a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; (5) a statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. Publishing this page alone does not create a DMCA safe harbor.

Counter notices

If your material was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or that you have authorization, send a counter notice through Report Abuse. Include your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and your name, address, phone number, consent to the jurisdiction required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), and agreement to accept service from the complainant. We may share a counter notice with the original complainant. Misrepresentations can have legal consequences. Get legal advice if you are unsure.
